Every day, I’m engaged in discussions around how to best use AI in UX work, particularly in the government space. As this technology continues to grow and change, my goal remains to use AI tools thoughtfully and strategically. 

 

I’ve used v0, Figma Make, CoPilot, VSCode, Gemini, VA GPT, Hemingway, and more in my work, and I find these tools can sometimes assist with prototyping, research preparation and analysis, ideation, code generation, and plain language evaluation. Other times, they create more work or perform poorly within complex product spaces. Recently, I led an AI pilot centered around the Appointments scheduling experience, in which our team identified ways that AI could be used throughout the product lifecycle, calling out both successes and failures. 

 

I continue to experiment, learn new tools, and collaborate with other designers and engineers.
